For the first time ever in my 53 years, my two sisters and their husbands joined Dennis and me on a week long vacation. If you've never done this, I highly recommend you call up all your siblings and get a vacation planned.
Sure, we've vacationed quite a few times with those families, but never just the adults.
I'm pretty sure I saw a totally different side of each of them. I'm pretty sure I loved the side that I saw. I'm pretty sure I want to see that side of them again and again and again.
It's amazing how wonderful each of my sisters turned out. They are both different but yet both the same. Above all, they are caring and compassionate Moms. I pity the fool that tries to separate them from their kids. Not that they smother their kids, but they keep a watchful eye on them from afar and make sure that advice given is advice received.
My mom and dad should be really proud of their daughters. We've all committed our lives to incredible men, raised super children and stayed pretty sane in the process.
Stop what you're doing and call you siblings and plan a vacation! NOW!
