It's a cold and raining Christmas Eve 2006. The fireplace is crowded by the cat and the dog. Everybodies Christmas favorite "Home Alone" is playing and I'm enjoying a cup of coffee. Trying to keep myself awake for the 11pm Christmas Eve service at church, where I'll play bells and narrarate the pageant!
We just finished cleaning the kitchen after a scrumptous dinner of roast and coffee gravy! Emily's favorite meal. Tomorrow after we open a mountain of gifts, I cook a turkey with dressing and gravy! Yumm...my favorite meal!
Last night we went to Bonnie's Seafood for a really excellent meal. It was the first time the 4 of us had gone out to dinner in months. We had a great visit. Probably one of the last times we'll go out as our original family!
It's a peaceful evening.
