I'm so looking forward to the holidays this year. Fall is finally arrived and I'm seeing lots of pumpkins on front porches. Yippee!
This year we'll split our Thanksgiving between Dennis' family and my family. Emily will drive down from Lubbock and the Whistler's will join us at my parents house.
I've been out to Salt Lake City to visit Lauren and Bill. It was so good to see them and learn more about the town they call home. They were great hosts and I had a fun time!
Emily has learned some lessons this fall about money. Seems her "former" boss kept paying his employees with "Hot Checks!". Another life lesson there!
I've been busy planning Dennis' 50th birthday party. Should be a fun evening, Nov. 17th!
I've been doing some Christmas shopping! That's always a good way to get in the Holiday mood!
