It's official, Fall has arrived. We actually had a day where the humidity was low and the air felt crisp! YIPPEE! This means football season is in full swing. We're going to watch the Pearland Oilers take on the LaMarque ?'s Friday night. Mostly we are going to watch Shannon perform during halftime with the Prancers.
Saturday we're headed to Matt Landry's 50th birthday party! Sunday, we're joining Susie and Rebecca at the Texans football game! Field passes....Dennis has already charged the digital camera battery for lots of cheerleader photos!
We're excited to have sold the condo in San Marcos. It served us well, but we needed to get rid of it. Glad that happened!
Emily is fully entrenched in another semester at TTU. She's working alot and going to school. She's only taking 14 hours, so this should be an easy semester - compared to the 17 and 18 hours semesters she recently took!
I'm headed to Salt Lake City in October to see Lauren and Bill. Really anxious to see them...seems like the last few times we were together somebody was getting married and time passed way too fast.
We've got tickets to a couple of TTU football games this year. We love those games. The Red Raiders really know how to build the excitement at ATT Jones Stadium. Dennis will be running the Red Raider Road Race again this year. It's a 10K race held homecoming weekend on the campus.
Dennis will race a 10 miler in October here in Houston. Should be a hot one! He's training for the Houston Marathon, Jan. 13, 2008. His goal is to break 5 hours this time! Geez, what determination!
I've booked our Spring Break cruise. Love having that to look forward too when the weather here turns cold and rainy in the winter. My parents are joining us! Glad they are still able to do that. Hoping other family members will join in too!
Dennis just got a new truck and we bought Jackie and Dale a new car too! Glad they all have new warranties and reliable vehicles to drive!
Guess that's it for now. Watching for the leaves to change colors and fall!
