Okay,
A few minutes to catch my Blog up-to-date on the happens in my ultra-exciting life.
Emily did have her Junior Recital! Yeah, great music and a great party and I know she is glad to have this behind her.
Shelley and Stephen are finishing out their first year of marriage and seem to be really enjoying themselves. They've spent some time this summer working in their yard. They're narrowing down their search for a church home. Searching for a great first anniversary trip.
Dennis is out of the running mode for now. He's trying to schedule workout training sessions with Chad as often as their schedules will allow. Dennis will begin training for the November San Antonio Rock and Roll Marathon in June. Spring time is always fishing time at Lake LBJ and Dennis has been wetting his hook often. Great success last weekend with a 22 pound catfish. Work continues to wear him out mentally. More talk of retirement....no immediate plans.
My dad's recovery from cancer surgery has been slowed by a couple of setbacks. He's better now, with the exception of the residual nerve damage to his vocal cords. He'll be back at MD Anderson next week to work on that issue. Mom and Dad did enjoy our Spring Break eastern caribbean cruise with the rest of the family and a few days at Disneyworld. The Disneyworld trip was a bit overwhelming. Springbreak at Disney - --- Geez toooooo crowded.
Okay, so now everybody is up-to-date. Ultra-exciting wasnt' it!
