Everytime I get ready for a cruise, I always think "this is going to be the best cruise ever". Each time, the voyages get better and better.
This next cruise though, has to be the best - because we are all sailing in Junior Suites! Big rooms, big bathtubs and large balconies! AH - the Sweet life! And we'll celebrate Christmas and a special anniversary on this sailing.
In other news...everybody is getting pregnant! Wow - we are so excited for all our friends and family that are anticipating a new arrival!
Thanksgiving was pretty low-key this year. We spend it at Marble Falls with family and enjoyed new "puppies" for entertainment.
Dennis continues to struggle with Hurricane Ike repairs. Emily is finishing up her last semester of college. Shelley and Steve are all decorated for their second Christmas as "The Whistlers".
My foot is slowly recovering from surgery..just a bit of swelling remains. Still unable to wear "real" shoes yet. Hope that's better by cruise time! Athletic shoes don't go well with formal gowns!
