And for these things, we are blessed!

My how our family's life has changed in 4 short weeks!

Little did I know that the fantastic vacation I took with Emily five weeks ago would be equalized with lots of time at the Whistler's house shortly there after!

In a word, Evelyn is DIVINE! Best invention since the 'spouse'! I love her with a love I've not know before. It matters not who her birth mother was...she's my granddaughter completely. I love everything about her and my world is better having her in my presence. I hope I live to see her have Grandchildren of her own! She deserves this kind of joy, too.

Emily continues to do what she loves. Teach and travel. Well actually the teaching provides the salary to pay for the traveling. I get jealous hearing about her upcoming vacations. I love that she's found a reward for her hard work! Glad she can use those summers off to explore the world!
"Show me an educated man and I'll show you someone who has travelled." - Mark Twain

Dennis is always going to stress about work, but not when Miss Evie is around. I thank God daily for putting this little Angel in his arms. Sometimes it's the people around us that give our lives vision and meaning. Evelyn brings Dennis' world back into perspective. I love that he's so smitten by her!

Shelley and Steve have quickly become 'super parents'. They are so attentive to Evie's needs and they both are SO in love with her. Steve's such a good daddy. I love watching him with Evie. He's also got excellent taste in cute little girl's dresses! Shelley is already an expert on Evie. She's figured out her eating, sleepping, pooping, rocking, jiggling and swinging schedule. There isn't a sweeter sight than that new family loving each other.

I've got a couple more items on the bucket list before I can rest...but those will be completed in due time, I'm sure.

I hope that every friend or family member of mine, can feel this level of blessedness in their lives soon.
