So our glorious trip to the Woodlands Resort and Conference Center ended as a bust! The adults only pool isn't adults only anymore! Screaming three years old out of control everywhere. No pool bar service...the resort was grotesquely understaffed. A/C out throughtout the resort for several hours. Battery dies on our smoke detector at 11pm and begins chirping! UGH!
We did manage a scrumptuous meal at Cheesecake Factory! But bailed on the weekend at the Resort. We checked out early and headed to Galveston to hang with our friend's, The Falzon's, at their bay house! Much better, A/C, no 3 years olds and no smoke detector issues!
We'll cap the long weekend off with burgers out by the pool and then get ready for the work-week!
