I wonder why I appear to be the most excited in our household about Shelley's upcoming wedding? I am constantly on the lookout for cool wedding centerpieces or interesting floral ideas. Should I take Shelley's lack of real involvement or enthusiasm as a sign that she had cold feet? Or is she so overwhelmed by her new teaching position that that has taken precedance over wedding planning?
I really don't want to be "last minute" detail cramming for the wedding. I don't do well when I'm in that mode. I don't want all of the $$$$'s of deposits to be due at the same time, so I need to space out the contract dates with all the vendors required. I don't think she understands that.
I do appreciate that now she has money to help out with wedding expenses. That allows me to be more flexible in other areas.
I really hope that the entire wedding comes off as First Rate!
I'm really tired of feeling like I'm dragging Shelley to the altar.
Anybody got any input?
